Constantine “Conroy” Brown is a Jamaican singer-songwriter. As a locally successful London-area artist, he performs and records as Conroy Brown. Inspired by a chance encounter with Toots Hibbert of the Maytals, Conroy responded his musical calling. He moved to Kingston and formed a group called the Soul Tones. The group recorded two songs on the Studio One label before Conroy made his way to England to further his solo career. Conroy Brown’s soulful vocal style is reminiscent of the singing idol that inspired him, Toots Hibbert.

Conroy Brown’s latest musical project “Freedom Street” speaks to the hearts of people around the world. With Clive Wilson on the bass, and Paggi King on the keyboard and guitar, the songs on “Freedom Street” play in your head long after the music stops. Enjoy!
